Laura Volkman studied at the Northwest Viticulture Center in Salem, Oregon and has been making wine 12 years.

The anticipation of harvest is an exhilarating time of year, when the weather cools, the harvest moons light up the night sky, the grape skins soften and the seeds turn brown; the growing season comes to an end and a new vintage is born.  The adrenaline starts flowing with the roar of tractors, trucks, buckets, clippers and wineries firing up their crush lines!   Can't wait to do it all over again!
